How to Connect Tesla to Wifi and Utilize Its Feature

If you don't find an internet connection you can also use your phone and make a mobile hotspot. Everything explained above works the same way. This can be very important when you download software updates.

Do you already have premium connectivity? If you do have chosen the subscription you should have no issues with the internet connection. Unless you are in totally remote areas your Tesla will have perfect internet and the map updates while zooming in and out are much faster.

If you have your own house, do connect your Tesla to the desired network name that you have at home and the software update will be much faster than with the phone's internet connection.
