Tesla Model Y Interior and Comfort

The Tesla Model Y is a family car that offers a spacious and comfortable interior. The Model Y's cabin is quite similar to that of the Model 3, with a minimalist design that creates a modern and elegant atmosphere. The Model Y's interior is roomy thanks to the superb packaging and production techniques that Tesla has used.

Model Y Seating and Space

The Tesla Model Y is built different to other manufacturers. Even though the seven-seat option isn't available anymore, the Model Y is one of the best family cars you can buy. The factor of space is one big advantage you get when you buy such a great car. You can further use this room for camping or when you wait while using the charging network.

With the Model Y,, many people concentrate on the miles of range or quick acceleration, but a new trend has emerged that uses the current space in the car and that is Camping. With an electric car this is something many people like to do. It is also a way to go on road trips.

Tesla has started this by launching the Camping Mode inside the Infotainment System which allows you to stay warm and receive fresh air while you sleep. We do advise you to do some test drives and check out the Model Y. The space in the performance models is the same as in the long-range Model Y and Standard Range. Tesla gives you the same car when it comes to space and seating. The main difference is the battery and acceleration.

Model Y Infotainment and Connectivity

Credit Tesla: The Tesla Model Y

The new Model Y will come with the same exciting infotainment system. The won'tself-driving capability will be at the same level with further improvements through software updates.

The front center screen wont be the only screen in the future. Like with the Model S, Model X, and the Model 3, the new Model Y will receive a smaller screen for the rear seats. This will further improve the experience when driving with 4 people.

The Tesla Model Y will most likely receive a better sound system than the Tesla Model 3 Highland and the noise in general will be much better inside the car. Tesla has improved the build quality, which brings less noise and a better experience within the car, especially when it comes to music movies, or any other infotainment. Another improvement will likely be the suspension which will add to a better ambient noise even further.

Most of the changes related to the infotainment will continue to come over the Software Update as usual. So if you want to buy a Tesla Model Y in 2024 the big decision question is wait or buy now?

The current Model Y is a very good car that has the best highway safety out there, you won't have to drive to a gas station anymore and you got a perfect family car with lots of room for storage and activities.

With the infotainment being the best in the industry this section won't make such a big difference between the current and the new Tesla Model Y. The main change is the small touchscreen for the rear seats, improved ambient noise, and a better sound system.

Tesla Model Y buy now or wait?

In the EV segment with technology improving very fast there is always one question, should I wait or buy now? With the new Tesla Model Y around the corner, it is hard to argue, that it is very tempting to wait, especially knowing what waits for you. The new vehicles of the Tesla Model 3 have received very good feedback and the design looks much better based on customer feedback and our taste.

With that being said, if you are sure, that you only want to buy Model Y vehicles with the best build-quality acoustic glass and the best tech build-in, you should wait. We do expect the new Tesla Model Y to launch first in Shanghai afterwards in Giga Berlin and latest by Q1 2025 in the US.
